In a continuing effort to improve the quality of the information in the PROFILE^® data warehouse, a Minimum Data Set requirement has been established. This requirement states that all products in the PROFILE^® database must have information in the fields identified in the Minimum Data Set in order to be distributed in the PROFILE^® database.

The Minimum Data Set was identified in November 1999, and contains a subset of the 512 fields in the PROFILE^® data warehouse. There is a minimum data set for both food and non-food product types. Examples of each can be found by following the links listed below.
